Cure For Cellulite

Okay, so let’s cut to the chase. Is there a cure for cellulite? To answer that question in the most definite way possible is to simply say NO. Cellulite is known to be very stubborn and it is not a bacterial condition where clear cut medications are made just to answer it in a few days’ time. Cellulite is a physiological challenge, more than anything. Women aging 35 and up are the most vulnerable to cellulite, though cases among younger women are also reported. There are a very small fraction of men who have cellulite mainly because men have more muscles in the thigh area than women and their skin is a lot thicker in the areas prone to cellulite.

cure for celluliteAlthough “cure” may not be the right word for cellulite condition, there are many things that can be done to prevent it and even treat its chronic manifestation which is the “orange peel” appearance in the skin in the buttocks and thighs area.

The first thing worthy to talk about in length is the lifestyle issue. Cellulite is formed by fat layers rippling under the connective tissues in the skin. When fat intake, carbohydrates and other high calorie foods is not regulated or controlled, fat deposits will only increase and make the ripples and “dimples’ deeper and more pronounced. When poor diet is coupled with inactivity and sedentary lifestyle, cellulite is further encouraged to form.

Eating a well balanced diet with vegetables and fruits that are rich in fiber and at the same time moving away from bad carbohydrates and saturated fat will go a long way in minimizing possible fat accumulation in problem areas. Aerobic exercise and cardiovascular routines that are done twice daily (ideally) can further control the appearance of cellulite and maintain its absence on areas where it is usually seen. Eradication is not enough for cellulite as they resurface easily when the right conditions are set.

The cure for cellulite is more practical than you think. Needless to say it takes hard work, patience and perseverance to win in the struggle against cellulite. There are of course “less work” solutions to cellulite but it could probably have side effects and they are absolutely not sustainable as a standalone treatment.
